This award acknowledges a student’s contribution to the INSM 2010 conference in either field of social marketing or nonprofit marketing. The prize rewards the use of original research in qualitative or quantitative techniques, or the synthesis of current literature to present an innovative and interesting conceptual paper that will encourage future research in either social marketing, or nonprofit marketing.
To be eligible for this award the student must be enrolled in an academic institution during the current (or preceding) academic year of the INSM 2010 Conference.
- The paper must relate to the application of social marketing or nonprofit marketing.
- The paper must represent original research conducted primarily by the student and not have been published elsewhere.
- The paper should follow the conference “call for paper” style requirements.
- The paper must be presented in an INSM 2010 conference session.
Qualifications: In order to be qualified for the award, the students must: (a) submit a paper for the conference using the usual submission process, (b) note on page 1 that the paper is to be reviewed for the Best Student Paper Award and provide enrolment details – program and institution, and (c) present their work at the conference.
Prizes 1 x $400 John Wiley and Sons Australia Book Voucher 1 x Complimentary registration to the 2nd World Non-Profit & Social Marketing Conference, held from 11-12 April 2011 in Dublin, Ireland. (Prize includes accommodation on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th April 2010. Travel costs not include)
Best Nonprofit / Social Marketing in Practice Paper

This award acknowledges the contribution of practitioners to either field of social marketing or nonprofit marketing. The prize rewards measurable nonprofit, policy and/or behaviour change outcomes from the application of a campaign, research, model or technique. To be eligible for the award the practitioner paper will:
- relate to the application of social marketing or nonprofit marketing.
- document the outcomes of a marketing enterprise in nonprofit or social marketing and outlines the impact, measurement and explanation of how to replicate the success (or circumvent the failures) of the marketing enterprise.
- follow the conference “call for case study paper” style requirements.
- be presented in a INSM 2010 conference session.

This prize rewards scholarly contributions to INSM 2010 conference and proceedings in either field of social marketing or nonprofit marketing. The prize rewards the use of original research in qualitative or quantitative techniques, or the synthesis of current literature to present an innovative and interesting conceptual paper that will encourage future research in either social marketing, or nonprofit marketing. To be eligible for the award scholars are required to submit a paper which:
- relates to the application of social marketing or nonprofit marketing.
- presents original conceptual research, or field research that contributes new ideas and insights into understanding social marketing or nonprofit marketing theory and, or practice.
- follow the conference “call for paper” style requirements.
- be presented in a INSM 2010 conference session.
